All Red Star programs have been designed specifically by the Livestock Central technical team to maximise animal health, performance and welfare.

The Red Star certification process is managed according to strict quality control procedures established and administered by Livestock Central. All certification is awarded on an individual animal basis.

Red Star Certified Weaners

Calmer, healthier and set for superior growth, certified Red Star Weaners are equipped to adapt to feed rapidly, avoid setbacks (such as eye and respiratory problems) and reach turnoff weights earlier.

Red Star Hereford SECURE

Red Star Hereford SECURE has been specially designed to best prepare Hereford cattle for entry into feedlots. Combining the Red Star Certified Weaner pr ogram with a unique Feedlot Pre Delivery program, certified animals are equipped to adapt rapidly to feed and to avoid many of the setbacks (such as respiratory and eye problems) typically associated with entry into a feedlot.

Red Star Gourmet

Certified Red Star Gourmet Lamb and Beef offers discerning consumers meat of exceptional eating quality that has been prepared in a highly ethical and welfare conscious manner. Strict attention paid to animal health, nutrition and stress management from weaning through to processing, combined with the stringent program monitoring requirements results in a high quality product that is truly unique.
